Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Application Support / Production Support Manager with a strong .NET development background to lead a team responsible for the operational stability, performance, and availability of business-critical applications. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management to ensure seamless support, quick resolution of incidents, and continuous improvement of support processes.Key Responsibilities:Application & Production Support:Manage incident, problem, and change management processes across multiple applications.Analyze recurring production issues and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes.Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to implement robust solutions.Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms to improve system observability.Team Management:Supervise a global support team including onshore/offshore resources.Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development plans.Provide technical mentorship to the support team, especially in .NET-based systems.Technical Oversight:Troubleshoot complex application issues related to .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core), SQL Server, IIS, APIs, and Windows environments.Review logs, code snippets, and configuration files to identify application faults.Contribute to automation of repetitive support tasks using scripting or tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Jenkins).Stakeholder Communication:Act as the primary point of contact for business users, clients, and leadership during major incidents.Provide timely updates and post-mortems on production outages and escalations.Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA to ensure defect resolution and feature stability.Documentation & Process Improvement:Maintain support runbooks, knowledge base articles, and SOPs.Continuously refine support processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.Champion ITIL best practices and ensure adherence to compliance and audit requirements.
