Application Support Specialist - OSS

Job Description

Functions1. Operation and maintenance 2nd level support, system maintenance and operation ability of abnormal document location and processing, role permission configuration, process configuration, rule configuration, etc.2. Provides and maintains data files and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.3. 2nd level support on application inquiries or data extraction 4. Responsible for the maintenance and management of the IT systems, can analyze and optimize in time.5. Responsible for maintaining knowledge database for data analysis use.6. Monitor and analyze the health of IT OSS systems by understanding the key business indicators so as to provide better operation and maintenance support.7. Assist the network operation and maintenance department to manage the whole life cycle of network resources, others.8. Perform structured analysis of incidents and requests.9. Have an up to date knowledge of System changes and New Releases.10. Shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of OSS systems including the deployment, upgrade, expansion, migration of OSS parts or similar activities to support OSS.11. Promote the standardization, automation and platform construction of OSS Systems operation and maintenance and improve the quality and efficiency of OSS systems operation and maintenance. 12. Participate in the optimization of the existing OSS systems, locate bottlenecks, solve faults, and improve the performance and stability of the platform. 13. Performs support within specified business hours or where needed in case to case basis.Job Skills & Qualifications1. Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent2. Experience in IT operations support3. Experience in IT Troubleshooting and monitoring tools, techniques, and technologies4. Experience in daily system operation and troubleshooting, provide timely feedback of the problem for discussion and repair5. Familiar with the standard SQL language and Databases like MySql, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, etc. 6. Practical skills with Linux, networking, storage, and virtualization Automation with tools like Chef, K8s, Docker 7. Familiar with systems management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.) and source code repository like Git8. Ability to communicate information effectively with others, able quickly grasp the main points and quickly coordinate resources.9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.10. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English with Mandarin is a plus11. Background in Telecommunications industry is a plus but not necessary.13. Applicants must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig City14. Willing to render support within specific business hours or on call 24/7 on case to case basis.15. Schedule of work days shall be hybrid. One (1) Work Day shall be WORK-FROM-HOME while four (4) days shall be IN- OFFICE WORK. 16. Eager learner with good work ethics and copes well in a startup company like DITO.
