Key OutputSuccessfully complete all theoretical learning, practical training and skills assessmentsApply all skills learnt in the workplaceComplete necessary documentation for the required experience building (Logbook, Training records)Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)Achieve individual balanced scorecard and KPI’sEffective self-management and performance ownershipAccurate reporting on task completed and related documentation/administrationProductivity and cost controlSafety, Risk, Contamination and Quality Control Assist/Support senior machinist with projectsBasic machining operations (turning, milling, drilling and tapping)Adhere to General machinery regulations act.Qualification, Experience And CompetenciesGrade 12/ Matric with N3 level mathematics and physical science or FLT(Foundational Learning Certificate)N2 or higher: Maths, Science, mechanical Trade Theory and Technical DrawingsNCV4: Maths, Physical Science, Industrial Science, Mechanical Trade Theory, Technical Drawings and /OR Electrical Trade Theory.Valid Driver’s Licence – Code B (to be obtained before trade test)Basic analytical abilityBasic technical /mechanical reasoningBasic numerical reasoningSpatial visualizationEffective verbal and written communication skills.
