DescriptionSalary £28,142 - £32,061 per annum | Permanent, Full time 37 hours per week | County Hall, PrestonAre you looking to build a career in project management while making a real difference in people’s lives? Join the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub as an Apprentice Project Officer and support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme—helping individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment find meaningful work.This is a developmental role where you will work towards the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification.As An Apprentice Project Officer, You WillProvide administrative and project support to the Connect to Work programme team.Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering programme activities and events.Manage team calendars, inboxes, and meeting logistics.Support data input, reporting, and analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems.Help with marketing and communications, including social media and website updates.What We're Looking For5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including English and Maths.Strong organisational and communication skills.Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.This is an apprenticeship role and is not suitable for candidates who already hold a project management qualification at Level 4 or above.
