Speaking candidly, Kriti shared, “There are some things that did connect, though a lot of things that Mukti does I wouldn’t do, but I think in the beginning, there is a certain purity, you know, she’s almost naive. Where she believes in good, she believes in the good in people.” The film, directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, is an AR Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
