APU Engineering Graduate

This initial 2-year fixed-term contract offers an exciting pathway to a permanent position. Reporting directly to the GM Base Maintenance and APU shop, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining excellence while embodying our core values of teamwork, integrity, safety, hard work, and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Query Management: You’ll be at the forefront of processing technical queries to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and parts suppliers and meticulously documenting all activities.APU Repair Proposals: Working with the GM, Sales representatives and workshop team, you will formulate proposal for specific APU shop visits which will form an integral part of the APU repair process.Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with our Quality Assurance team to report and maintain high standards.Capability Development: Contribute to the development of new capabilities within the workshop. An understanding of Lean principles and 5S will be a distinct advantage.OEM & Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the OEM and local customer representatives regarding APU issues.Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional duties assigned by the Company as needed.AD and SB Review: Stay informed by reviewing Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB).Teamwork: Develop a strong working relationship with the Shop floor manager to coordinate a robust APU shop visit plan which meets with contracted agreements and customer expectationsQualifications And RequirementsAeronautical Engineering Qualification: Possess a minimum Level 6 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering or similar discipline with an general understanding of APU architecture.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret technical and airworthiness data.Airworthiness Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant airworthiness legislation.Initiative and Flexibility: Work independently, stay self-motivated, and adapt to changing circumstances.Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication.IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.Prioritization and Multitasking: Efficiently manage multiple tasks.Business Focus: Understand our company’s objectives and contribute to our commercial success.Project Management: Experience working in and leading teams.Aircraft Maintenance Background: Relevant experience in an aircraft maintenance environment or similar industrial background.Join us on this exciting journey as we soar to new heights!
