Title: ArchaeologistLocation: Fort St. John, BCDirect Report: Senior Archaeology SpecialistSalary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourOperating across Western Canada, H3M supports multiple energy sectors, commercial real estate, forestry, municipalities, and utilities. We support pre-construction, construction, and post-construction requirements of projects, managing our client’s assets from inception through to their retirement and reclamation. Taking a pragmatic approach to balancing land stewardship, project development, and economic sustainability.H3M Environmental Ltd. is seeking a motivated Archaeologist to join our team. The Archaeologist will be primarily responsible for project execution and reporting to assist in H3M’s continued growth and diversification of client-focused services across Western Canada. The Intermediate Archaeologist will assist with building and maintaining positive client communications, focusing on providing top-quality service in regulatory expertise. The successful candidate will be required to maintain an understanding of applicable heritage regulations, guidelines, and associated industry practices within BC, and champion and promote H3M’s initiatives.Role and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:Project Execution and Reporting (65%)Complete Archaeological fieldwork under the direction of a Senior Archaeologist Perform independent studies to form conclusions. This work will be reviewed by a senior professional.
