Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Architect Inspector - Façade to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of building façade systems, ensuring compliance with architectural specifications, building codes, and safety standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our construction and renovation projects while providing professional guidance to project teams and stakeholders.Conduct thorough inspections of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and building envelope componentsVerify compliance with Saudi Building Code, international standards, and project specificationsDocument inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions using detailed reports and photographic evidenceAnalyze façade materials, installation methods, and workmanship quality against established standardsCollaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings and implement corrective measuresPrepare comprehensive inspection reports with clear recommendations and timelines for remediationMaintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentationCommunicate inspection results and technical findings to clients and project stakeholders in a professional mannerIdentify potential safety hazards and recommend preventive measuresStay current with evolving building codes, standards, and best practices in façade inspection and building envelope systemsUtilize CAD software and inspection documentation systems to organize and present findingsCoordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure consistent inspection protocols across all projectsQualificationsEngineering degree in Architect. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in façade inspection, architectural inspection, or building envelope assessmentComprehensive knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding systems, glazing, and waterproofing solutionsStrong understanding of Saudi Building Code and international building standards (ISO, ASTM, or equivalent)Proficiency with CAD software and digital documentation systemsDemonstrated experience with quality assurance and inspection protocolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are preferredExperience preparing detailed inspection reports and technical documentationFamiliarity with inspection tools and equipment (moisture meters, thermal imaging, etc.)Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practicesAbility to organize and manage multiple inspection projects simultaneouslyProfessional demeanor with strong client-facing and stakeholder communication abilitiesPreferred: Certification in building inspection, façade engineering, or related fieldPreferred: Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and project management softwareAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
