Architect – Military Facilities and Marine Structures

Summary We are seeking an experienced Architect to join AKTEKNIK for the design of military facilities and marine structures. The role includes architectural design of land and marine facilities, living areas, and large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on compliance with international and military standards. The candidate will work in close coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, functional, and secure architectural solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead architectural design for land and marine structures, including living spacesPrepare concept, preliminary, and detailed design projects for ports, shipyards, maintenance and repair facilities, hangars, social and administrative buildingsDevelop designs in compliance with NATO STANAG, FC 2-000-05N, and international military/architectural standardsCoordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure disciplinesManage material selection, architectural detailing, and site supervision of applicationsContribute to project documentation, tender packages, and technical reports.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred)Minimum 10 years of experience in port/marine structures or large-scale infrastructure projectsProven experience in international projects; ability to coordinate across disciplinesProficiency in Autocad, Revit, BIM-based software, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar visualization toolsAdvanced English (an additional foreign language is an asset)Knowledge of military security standards, architectural planning, and space utilizationWillingness to travel and adapt to on-site conditions.
