Architect

We are presently recruiting for an Architect / Assigned Certifier to join our clients BCAR Certification Team. You will Review building designs, inspect construction work, and ensure compliance with Building Regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, checking site documentation, preparing inspection reports, managing compliance records, and issuing statutory certificates.Key Responsibilities:Manage the Assigned Certification process across residential, commercial, industrial, logistics, leisure, retail, and healthcare projects.Prepare BCAR documentation including inspection plans, programming, and statutory submissions.Conduct site monitoring and ensure compliance with Building Regulations.Chair and attend site meetings with clients, contractors, and design teams.Review Ancillary Certifier documentation and maintain accurate records.Mentor junior team members and support professional development.Contribute to business development and key client relationships.Qualifications & Experience:Registered Architect, Building Surveyor, or Chartered Engineer as per Building Control Regulations 1997–2015.Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.Strong knowledge of BCAR, inspection processes, and compliance.This job can be hybrid once access to company offices in either Cork OR Dublin.
