Architectural Engineer – Site Works

The Architectural Engineer (Site Works) is responsible for supervising and executing architectural elements of construction projects on-site. The role ensures that all architectural works are completed in compliance with design drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations, coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams and contractors to deliver high-quality results.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all architectural site works, including finishes, facades, partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, and external works.Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for compliance with design intent.Coordinate with project managers, civil, MEP teams, and contractors for seamless execution.Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, adherence to design, and safety standards.Manage site documentation, including progress reports, snag lists, RFI (Request for Information), and as-built drawings.Ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications and quality standards.Monitor project schedules and site activities to ensure timely completion.Resolve technical issues on-site and provide practical solutions.Assist in handover and commissioning, including final inspections and documentation.Support in value engineering and implementation of design modifications as needed.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.8–10 years of experience in architectural site execution within construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural finishes, materials, and detailing.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage site teams and work under tight deadlines.Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in GCC region projects (Saudi Arabia preferred).Familiarity with design & build projects, large-scale commercial or residential projects.Professional membership or certification (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers) is an advantage.Experience in quality control and site supervision of high-end finishes and facades.
