Job Description

Job Purpose:We are looking for a KSA National to manage, lead, and support an assigned area team to achieve operational excellence and deliver results across the four key pillars — Financial, Customer, Operational, and People — as defined in the Annual Operating Plan and measured through Balanced Scorecard (BSC) targets. The Area Manager ensures that each restaurant operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with brand standards while fostering a high-performance culture and driving the overall mission of Americana Restaurants.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage multiple restaurants within the assigned area to achieve operational excellence across financial, customer, operational, and people pillars.Develop and execute annual and monthly business plans with Restaurant General Managers (RGMs), monitor results, and drive corrective actions to achieve sales, profit, and cost targets.Analyze performance metrics — including sales, labor, and controllable costs — to optimize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Oversee compliance with cash handling, health, safety, and food quality standards, ensuring all restaurants operate in line with Americana’s policies and brand requirements.Conduct regular restaurant visits to audit product quality, service standards, food safety, and preventive maintenance.Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Brand HR to execute marketing plans, conduct competitive analysis, and develop annual CapEx and labor budgets.Build a high-performing team culture through ongoing coaching, recognition, and performance management, including IDPs, PIPs, and succession planning.Drive change management initiatives, aligning teams with evolving business priorities and ensuring consistent operational delivery under pressure.Motivate and engage teams across multiple locations, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Make data-driven decisions within company policies, budgets, and brand frameworks, exercising authority over area-level operations and people management while escalating strategic matters as needed.Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders — including Call Center, HR, Marketing, Finance, HRSS, and Supply Chain — and with external partners such as customers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless operations and business continuity.Experience & Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline (postgraduate studies in Business preferred).Minimum 5 years of multi-unit or area management experience in the food & beverage or retail industry.Proven track record in driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.Strong understanding of modern operational practices, business methods, and team development techniques.Skills & Competencies:Fluent in English and Arabic (a third language is a plus).Strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong teamwork, collaboration, and people management capability.Skilled in coaching, feedback, and performance development.Analytical thinking with solid commercial and business acumen.Creative, innovative, and results-oriented mindset.Ability to manage pressure, prioritize, and deliver outcomes.Competent in change management, strategic thinking, and execution excellence.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
