As an Area Manager, you will supervise a team of in-store brand advocates and lead generators who promote our client’s flooring solutions to customers inside the territory of major warehouse retailers. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, pregnancy, disability, age, veteran status, or other dimensions of identity.Job Description:Supervise and motivate a team of lead generators across multiple retail locationsProvide daily direction, training, and feedback to ensure consistent performance and engagementRun team huddles, performance reviews, and manage schedulesFulfill staffing needs: interview, hire, train, and develop new employeesSupport in-store lead generation as neededDrive customer engagement through high-quality interactions and lead conversionPromote our client’s in-home flooring consultation services and schedule customer appointmentsEnsure team meets or exceeds weekly and monthly quotas and KPIsAccurately track headcount, productivity, and team activity using internal reporting toolsDocument and manage performance, conduct corrective actions, and ensure compliance with HR policiesBuild relationships with store partners and maintain brand integrityProvide feedback and recommendations based on customer and team insightsMaintain strict adherence to client expectations, lead generation, lead quality, and ethical standardsTravel to store locations regularly within your assigned areaAttend meetings, training sessions, and regional conference callsEnsure compliance with all company and client policiesPerformance MetricsMeet established weekly/monthly lead generation and lead quotas Maintain optimal staffing and minimize turnover across assigned storesEnsure high customer satisfaction and low complaint/rejection ratesAccurate and timely reporting of team performance and activities Regular and prompt attendance, personal professionalism, and team accountabilityQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; some college or training preferred1+ year of retail management, or home improvement industry experiencePrior experience overseeing teams in a retail environment preferredStrong leadership and interpersonal skills; enthusiastic and self-motivatedConsultative selling ability with excellent communication and objection-handling skillsComfortable standing for extended periods and working weekends/holidaysTech-savvy: must be proficient with smartphones, scheduling tools, and digital reportingReliable transportation and a personal mobile phone requiredWhat You Can Expect From 2020 CompaniesWe welcome every voice, and we are committed to building a truly inclusive environment where your differences are not just welcomed, they are celebrated.
