AREA SALES MANAGER - BULGARIALocation: Sofia (Remote)Our client is a well-established international industrial manufacturer, operating across multiple markets in Europe, is seeking a motivated and responsible Area Sales Manager to join its expanding Sales & Marketing Department and manage a regional coverage area including Sofia, Western Bulgaria, and North Macedonia. The company is a major producer of high-quality building and interior materials and is committed to innovation, strong customer partnerships, and sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, maintain, and grow relationships with existing clients within the assigned regionIdentify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presenceConduct regular customer visits and provide professional product presentationsOrganize, execute, and follow up on customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and service excellenceMonitor market trends, competitors, and pricing dynamics, preparing detailed and accurate reportsSupport marketing initiatives, trade fairs, and promotional campaignsCollaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between sales, logistics, and customer serviceAchieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the company’s long-term commercial strategyAssist the Marketing department in content preparation, campaign coordination, and local market activation effortsDrive business development activities by identifying strategic partnerships, developing growth-focused proposals, and supporting regional expansion plansWillingness and ability to manage a regional coverage area including Sofia, Western Bulgaria, and North Macedonia RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in sales roles, ideally within the building materials, construction, or industrial products sectors.Fluent Bulgarian, good command of English (written & spoken)Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge is an asset)Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsStrong organizational approach with attention to detailAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage prioritiesBased in Sofia or willing to relocateWillingness to travel regularly around the country on a periodic basisProactive, results-oriented personality with a strong commercial mindsetTeam-player attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments (Marketing, Logistics, Finance, etc.)We OfferA stable position within a well-recognized international groupCompetitive compensation package and performance-based incentivesOpportunities for professional development and long-term career growthA dynamic, collaborative, and supportive working environmentExposure to international best practices and cross-functional teamworkOnly the candidates that fulfil these requirements will be considered.
