Area Sales Manager – SpainAbout Us:Maileg is a renowned Danish design company recognized for creating imaginative products that focus on craftsmanship, quality, and storytelling. To further strengthen our international presence, we are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth and build strong customer relationships in the Spanish market.Position Overview:As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales performance in your designated region and act as a brand ambassador for Maileg. You will identify new business opportunities, manage and grow relationships with wholesalers and retailers, and ensure that our brand is represented in line with Maileg’s standards and values. With a focus on long-term partnerships, quality representation, and commercial success, you will play a key role in expanding Maileg’s presence in Spain.Key Responsibilities:Sales responsibility for the Spanish marketIdentify, select, and onboard new wholesalers and retailers, including managing incoming inquiriesFollow up on partner compliance with Maileg’s brand guidelines, and close partnerships that do not meet standardsDrive organic growth with existing customers and build long-term relationshipsSupport and educate partners to ensure they represent Maileg as strong brand ambassadorsPrepare annual forecasts and budgets for your region and each accountMonitor sales performance and proactively secure targets – or take necessary action if adjustments are neededParticipate in selected trade shows – including stand setup, product presentation, and active sales during the eventQualifications:Proven experience in B2B sales – ideally within lifestyle, design, or children’s productsSolid understanding of the Spanish marketStrong communication and negotiation skillsFluent in Spanish – and good English skills Self-driven, structured, and goal-orientedPassion for aesthetics, quality, and storytellingAbility to work independently while being a team player in an international sales organizationValid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the regionWe Offer:A key role in a growing international design companyThe opportunity to shape and develop Maileg’s position in a strategically important regionA meaningful job with a strong brand that combines design, quality, and playA collaborative, ambitious, and creative work environmentSupport from an experienced and dedicated sales team located in HamburgWork Location:The position is based in the region (Spain), and you will work from your home office and visit customers directly.
