General QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in Shipping Agency or Logistics & Transportation sector. Bachelor’s Degree from relevant departments. Excellent knowledge of the English language. Excellent use of software applications, such as CRM, ERP, Office. Very good organizational and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail. Consistence in deadlines. Job DescriptionMonitoring and following up on main liner, feeder operators’ services, schedules, and coastal operations. Ensuring completion of vessel checklists and closure of import/export procedures. Collecting and verifying bookings and documentation from various departments. Preparing IMO declarations for submission to local authorities. Generating manifests and issuing Bills of Lading, distributing them to customers, port authorities, and the line. Preparing shipment pre-invoices, processing corrections to manifest and handling telex releases. Performing freight checks on manifests using the local system. Managing ENS/MRN procedures and customs declarations.
Notifying all stakeholders of additional costs, and resolving discrepancies in coordination with related departments. Submitting final booking forecast loading lists for local export cargo to CFC. Communicating with customers to resolve booking-related issues via email or phone. Providing container tracking updates and instructions for the return of empty containers. Coordinating and overseeing door delivery procedures and customs clearance for import/export cargo, informing clients of required documentation and arranging delivery dates and conditions with clients and truckers. Monitoring vessel allocation by sending forecasts to trade, involving the trade pricing department when necessary. Tracking and managing re-export and COD cargoes.
