The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust’s (RWT) Primary Care Network is made up of eight practices across Wolverhampton (all rated as Good by the CQC). We are part of a group of forward thinking practices working with RWT in our own network. We have a multidisciplinary team approach to working with ANPs; Practice Nurses; First Contact Physiotherapists; Social Prescribers and Pharmacists as well as a full admin team to support workflow, care navigation and call handling to enable more time to be released to provide effective patient facing care. Our surgeries use EMIS Web and Docman10.We are excited to be able offer a salaried GP vacancy to join our team under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). This a great opportunity for a GP who is newly qualified. The postholder must be within 2 years of completing their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).We can offer 9 sessions per week and this will be a permanent contract.The post holder will join our Primary Care Services as a key member of the practice team and as such will fully contribute to the delivery of the service. Post holder must be newly qualified GP (within the last two years, without a substantive post)The post is a salaried post with Royal Wolverhampton Trust (RWT) the postholder would be working across the Vertical Integration Practices.The postholder’s indemnity would be covered by Royal Wolverhampton Trust under the hospital scheme for GMS work and the postholder would have paid time for study and CPD.The PCN is always open to new ideas and developing a new model of Primary Care provision through Vertical Integration.The PCN prides itself on providing a high quality of service for our patients, working closely with our administrative and nursing staff to make our practices supportive places to work.Since working closely with RWT, we are actively planning changes, to improve patient care in the community by increasingly close working and blurring of the boundaries between primary and secondary careWe are part of the Primary Care Directorate at RWT NHS Trust, giving us a voice and the ability to work closely with managers and clinicians at the decision-making face of the organisation.
