Job Description

Let us introduce ourselves! We are a team of curious hackers & tinkerers who love to build innovative projects just for the fun of doing it. We like to spend our time in a major hackerspace where we have access to lots of toys for the big boys: CNC mills, laser-cutter, 3D printers, etc. Nevertheless, primarily we are a B2B engineering company that builds high-tech systems for helicopters, airplanes, and other vehicles. Think of flying precision laser scanners, high-res & thermal cameras, fiber-optic gyros, satellite communications, etc.

Occasionally, we get onboard an aircraft to fly around and test what we’ve built. Which is sometimes just an excuse to go up in the sky! We genuinely love what we do, and it just happened so that we’ve built the most awesome system in the market of this kind (for real). Now we are selling it all around the world for geospatial companies, utilities, helicopter operators, and other businesses alike.

They use it to detect defects and potential problems in critical infrastructure, such as power lines, railroads, and pipelines all around the world, from Europe and the Americas to Africa. We are seeking a multi-talented ASSEMBLY ENGINEER to join our rapidly growing technology team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our Production Team, performing the tasks outlined below. As the company expands, your career growth will be limited only by your initiative and competence, offering the potential to advance into more senior roles. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic mechanical tasks (drilling, cutting threads, deburring, etc. ).

Conduct basic electrical work (crimping, soldering wires and PCBs). Assemble mechanical products and prototypes independently with precision, and prepare or update internal assembly instructions based on best practices. Read, interpret, and apply wiring/cabling diagrams in prototypes and products. Configure software and conduct basic testing before QC handoff. Troubleshoot and resolve system/component issues. Source components, track usage of components during assembly and assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels. Operate workshop tools and equipment for fabrication and assembly. Prepare assembled products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation according to specifications. REQUIREMENTS:

Good understanding of different manufacturing processes and materials. Proficient in Lithuanian and English, including reading and writing technical English. Most important – strong desire and ability to learn new things!BONUS POINTS FOR: Prior experience in rapid prototyping, R&D, or similar roles. Relevant engineering degree(s). Maker/hacker mindset. Experience with CNC operations, 3D modelling, or 3D printing. Basic knowledge of PCB design. Share your personal projects – they could make a big difference in the hiring process!WE PROVIDE: Flexible work hours, focused more on the completion of tasks than on hours clocked.

An option to work from the office or workshop is available anytime. Exposure to high-end technologies, devices, and aviation. Engaging and challenging work that offers the opportunity to grow and learn in a cutting-edge technological environment. A real chance to influence company-wide technological decisions. Multiple team-building experiences every year, including scuba diving in the Red Sea or safari in Tanzania. A fast-growing company at the forefront of aerial data collection with all the thrills, growth, and career opportunities. An opportunity to get on an aircraft to test your creations and see the "big picture. "2500 - 3500 Bruto.

Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience. If you are a problem-solver, innovator, and independent worker, we would love to hear from you.
