You'll follow detailed schematics, use precision tools, and work side-by-side with experienced technicians to deliver top-quality, accurate, and safe builds. You'll report directly to our Electrical, Automation & Controls Manager—a great chance to learn from an expert and grow in a supportive, hands-on environment where every connection you make matters.Essential Functions: Assemble and wire basic electrical panels under supervision, following schematics and work instructionsMount components, label wiring, and perform panel layout work with accuracy and attention to detailDrill, tap, and cut holes in metal enclosures using proper tools and techniquesSafely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, soldering guns, and crimpersPerform point-to-point testing of circuits according to schematics under supervisionConduct basic QA/QC inspections prior to "Green-Tag" approval and accurately document test resultsAssist with facility-related projects such as moving materials, packing, cleaning, and trash removalSupport other shop team members with equipment installation, service, and general maintenance tasksInstall and verify all required S3S decals before equipment shipmentRequest tools, supplies, and fixtures as needed to complete assigned work efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all timesRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Fundamental understanding of AC and DC electrical systems and voltagesProficient in the use of Digital Multi-Meters (DMMs) and other basic electrical testing equipmentWorking knowledge of electrical control systems and their components. Skilled in using precision measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and thread gaugesMechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for hands-on assembly workAbility to read, interpret, and follow both written and verbal instructions accurately and efficientlyAbility to identify and select proper fasteners based on size and thread specificationsUnderstanding of proper torquing techniques and safe installation practicesExperienced with a wide range of hand and power tools used in panel assembly and wiringClear and professional communicator, able to collaborate effectively within a team environmentExcellent manual dexterity and capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance if neededFluent in English (Bilingual in Spanish, an asset)Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience: 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma, or equivalent GED1+ Year experience working in a warehouse environment (Preferred)Forklift Certified (Preferred, Certification on-site available)Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesRequirementsUnderstanding of AC and DC electrical systems and voltagesAssemble and wire basic electrical panelsMount components, label wiring, and perform panel layoutTesting of circuitsQA/QC inspectionsSolder, soldering, soldering gunFollow and understand schematics / drawings.
