 ASSET MANAGER - ITALY GROUP PRESENTATIONGÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE was created in 2008 at the initiative of Daniel Bour. The Group core activity is the development, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), financing and operation of solar power plants. The Group is an independent power producer with a total capacity of 500MW. It employs more than 150 people with an overall turnover of 150 million euros. The Group's growth is based on solid teams with strong human values and an agile strategy.GDS SOLE is the Italian branch of the GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE Group. Headquartered in Milan with activities spanning across all Italy, it employs 9 people with a 450MW pipe under development (of which 52MW already under operation).JOB PRESENTATION Reporting hierarchically to the Managing Director Italy and functionally to the Production and Asset Director in France, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all photovoltaic power plants in Italy from their commissioning and throughout their operation duration.You will be responsible for the operating results of the owner-operator SPVs, accountable for the performance of the plants, and the operational, contractual and administrative management of the portfolio. To this end, you will have the following main tasks.Interpersonal and communication skills would be a real plus to assist the Managing Director in representing the business to third parties.MAIN TASKS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage (including negotiation, signature and implementation) all contractual and operational aspects, rights and obligations related to the operational contracts (e.g. electricity off-take contracts, GSE contracts, outsourced asset management contracts if any, O&M agreements, H&S agreements, leases …etc) in accordance with the Group guidelines and strategy, involving the appropriate departments and ensuring adequate coordination.Fulfill all the obligations required by the grid operator, the market, the regulator and/or any other institutions regarding contractual or market requirements.Draw up and monitor annual operating budgets with the aim of maximizing the profitability of the assets.Monitor key indicators (production, availability, sales, …etc.) by asset on a monthly basis - Analyze variances against budget.Manage the interface with the O&M Operators of the plants for support in the management of technical aspects;Check the technical reports of the O&M contactors and request further clarifications if necessary to ensure adequate monitoring of the systems' performance. Collaborate with technical areas to ensure the availability of resources to implement improvement initiatives.Control and approve invoicing and periodically verify and monitor the energy metering of the systems in order to guarantee the regular and consistent flow of revenues to the companies.Monitor the legislation in force and its evolutions in reference to incentives and related photovoltaic incentives, guarantees of origin).Maintain contact with the Finance department for accounting, taxes, treasury, planning, controlling & reporting activities and in the preparation of financial statements and other relevant reports and declarations for the assigned companies.Support in the management of specific Project Finance contracts (in particular on reporting, covenant calculation, updating financial models) also interfacing directly with banking institutions.Support the Legal department on technical-regulatory issues concerning Asset Companies and on Corporate Governance activities, in particular in the preparation of material for the Boards of Directors.Support and/or prepare internal and external periodic reporting related to asset management activities.SKILLS AND QUALITIESDegree in one of the following fields: engineering, economics of financial markets, economics and commerceAt least 2 years' experience in companies operating in the renewable energy sectorGood knowledge of the electricity market regulationExcellent data analysis and interpretation skillsExcellent interpersonal and networking skills, predisposition for teamwork and relationships with various internal and external contactsExcellent knowledge of operating systems (Office, Sap)Good knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level)Knowledge of the French language is a plusDriving licence (on-site visits are to be expected). Location: MilanContract: Full timeContact: Michela.facchino@gdsolaire.comAvailability: ASAPSalary: 30K€ to 45K€ + Bonus + Benefits depending on experience
