This role involves leading the development and implementation of asset management strategies, policies, and plans that ensure the effective utilisation and sustainability of our infrastructure.Your expertise will drive data-informed decision-making and optimise asset lifecycle performance while aligning investments with community outcomes. You will work collaboratively to develop integrated asset strategies, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery.This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveDegree in Asset Management, Project Management, Business Management, Data Analysis, Facilities Management, Engineering or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional developmentYou will also be able to demonstrateExtensive experience in similar roles within large organisations.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams focused on quality and customer outcomes.Strong knowledge of asset management best practices (ISO 55000, NAMS) and relevant legislation.High technical competence in asset and infrastructure management, including capitalisation processes.Expertise in delivering complex operational projects while balancing competing priorities.Skilled in developing methodologies, processes, and contract documentation; engaging consultants and contractors.Experienced in preparing strategic reports to inform and influence decision-making.Comprehensive budget management and financial forecasting skills, including identifying funding opportunities.Proficient in programme planning and management.Our position description provides more information for you to learn more about this role.Other Important InformationThe commencing salary for this position is up to $129.9K per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $150.5K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation We have a temporary full-time role available This role will be able to access a 19 day month We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite - This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building This role will have access to a Quarterly Vehicle Allowance $207.31 per week Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.Extra BenefitsAt Central Coast Council we provide team members with a range of extras that help them balance their life when they need it.
