The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients in their everyday bookkeeping needs, processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and managing other accounting activities in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Assistant Client Accountant will work directly with the clients to address any queries and provide ad hoc support as required.Job Description· Prepare and review of ETB task completed by accounts team· Preparation and review of VAT returns for clients on a monthly or quarterly basis, including VAT reconciliation· Review of Personal Tax Returns· Review bookkeeping carried out by AP team for our clients. Where necessary carry out own bookkeeping· Preparation and review of monthly/quarterly management accounts with supporting schedules and reconciliations· Preparation of monthly payroll & Pension contributions· Support the Client Accountant with emails and calls to HMRC, Companies House, Pension Regulator etc· Support and train junior staff where required· Provide ad-hoc support to Client AccountantsQualification & Experience· Experience 3-4 years in UK Accounting practice· ACCA Affiliate preferable (Passed Advance Tax (ATX) as option paper is desirable)· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)· Attention to detail and accuracy· Good communication and teamwork abilitiesBenefitsSalary range PK Rs 275,000 to PK Rs 325,000Holiday 24 days plus UK Bank holidays
