Job Description

The Assistant Director, Careers in Business and Entrepreneurship will play a key role in managing logistics, planning, and program operations that support hundreds of students exploring business and entrepreneurship related career paths. Programming will include workshops focused on skill-building, networking, and recruiting readiness. This role includes 1:1 student advising with a focus on ensuring students have summer or post-graduate outcomes. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys creating structure, streamlining processes, and enhancing program experiences.Key Responsibilities:Manage the planning and execution of multiple weekly events and workshops throughout the academic year.Support new program development across business and entrepreneurship career pathways.Coordinate logistics for large-scale events, including speaker sessions, career treks, and employer engagements.Develop and maintain annual program calendars, timelines, and communication plans.Collaborate with advising staff and student leaders to ensure smooth execution of programming.Track participation data and outcomes to help assess program effectiveness and guide improvements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in program management, business, or a related field.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners.Demonstrated ability to plan ahead, anticipate needs, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with business, consulting, entrepreneurship, or related career fields.Proficiency in program tracking, data analysis, and process improvement tools.
