Overall Purpose of The Job To assist the Finance Manager in exercising effective control over the finances of entities assigned to him/her and that the requested financial reports are prepared timely and accurately.Key Responsibilities And Tasks Critically review entity reports submitted by Accountants and Accounting assistants, with particular emphasis on variance analysis. Ensure correct implementation of standardised procedures. Perform tests to ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated results. Monitor closely adherence to agreed budgets. Ensure that dividend policy is closely monitored and followed. Carry out site visits overseas when necessary. Assist, advice, and train subordinates as necessary. Liaise with external Auditors. Ensure that all deadlines set by the Divisions / Clients are respected. Assisting in the preparation of the company’s monthly management accounts. Ensure that the year-end Financial Statements are timely prepared. Ensuring that statutory requirements pertaining to Payroll, VAT and Tax are met. Undertake special projects as assigned, and assist the Finance Manager as necessary. What can I expect in return? V.
