Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Assistant Bar ManagerThis job will require you to oversee preparations and stock to ensure the bar manager approves ordering requests and eliminate beverage waste. You will report to the Bar Manager to ensure that staff is working up to standards and operations run smoothly behind the bar during service.Responsibilities Oversee bar service to ensure quality Oversee preparation of batched cocktails and infusions Maintain par levels to match service requirements Report to the Bar Manager with liquor orders for approval Run on and off site events and team-building exercises Work behind the bar on high-volume service daysCompensation (based On Experience) $30 - $40/hr Gratuities (tipped out)Hours Full time (30 - 44hrs per week) Long shifts Weekends must be availableJob Requirements Valid Smart Serve certification 3+ years experience in the service industry Experience batching cocktails and creating infusions Knowledge of health and beverage requirements of the Government of OntarioMust be available to start immediately.
