Job DescriptionPosition: Assistant Graphic DesignerClassification: Non-ExemptDepartment: Marketing & DesignLocation: Brea CA Wage: $22-25/hour■ OverviewOur client is seeking an Assistant Graphic Designer to support their Marketing & Design team. This role will assist the Design Manager with various creative projects, handle collateral production, support digital and print materials, and collaborate closely on web and social media initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced with Adobe design tools.■ Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Design Manager with ongoing projects and new creative developmentProduce collateral designs, including flyers, brochures, posters, banners, and other marketing materialsSupport artwork production and proofing of copyCreate clear and concise written communications (emails, letters, documentation)Format presentations and visuals to maintain brand consistency and standardsCoordinate and ensure consistency across all digital and printed materials per store locationVisit store locations to support design-related needsPrepare rough sketches and illustrations; review with designers/managers and revise as neededCreate pitch-related graphics, photos, and mock-up renderingsAssist with updating and maintaining website contentCollaborate with the marketing team to produce social media content (SNS)Work with cross-functional departments to ensure proper usage of all design assets, including logos and brand elements■ QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferredProficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Premiere, and After EffectsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience preferredStrong understanding of typography, layout, color, and compositionAbility to take initiative and support concept development independentlyEffective communication skills with colleagues and supervisorsKnowledge of current design trends and creative best practicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPortfolio required, demonstrating design capability across images, layouts, infographics, and photoshopped visuals■ Travel RequirementsLocal travel to store locations requiredOccasional domestic travel for client-facing events such as conventions and grand openings■ FlexibilityFlexible work schedule may be required during business tripsWeekend work may occur depending on event schedules and project deadlines
