Assistant Machine Operator

Position Title : EPPI Machine OperatorJob Objective:Perform duties and responsibilities on Extrusion machine as assigned by the Plant supervisor or Production Incharge.Accountabilities:Machine Setup: Take lead in setting up machines before production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper tooling is in place.Machine Operation: Operate machinery according to established procedures, guidelines, and safety protocols. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments in consultation with Plant Supervisor / Production Incharge.Quality Control: supervise inspection of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report any defects or issues to Production Incharge / QC immediately.Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Troubleshooting and minor repairs when needed.Material Handling and Planning: Oversee raw materials and finished products handling and Planning, including loading and unloading materials, moving products between workstations, and maintaining inventory levels.Safety: Follow all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and ensure all his team members follow the same.Documentation: Maintain records of production activities, machine settings, and quality checks. Complete production reports as necessary.Communication: Communicate effectively with Production Incharge, and team members to ensure smooth production processes.Training: Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and knowledge of production processes.Job Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent3 - 5 years’ experience preferably in factory set up
