Job Description

Job Scope:Reporting to the Head of Japan, the role holder’s key accountability is to strengthen relationships with key customers, identify business opportunities, increase profitability, and accelerate growth for our company in Japan. Responsible for developing and implementing key account management strategy aligned with the overall corporate vision, strategy, and targets of different business streams. Build clients relationship by acting as the interface between operation teams.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Manage, retain and develop a portfolio of major accountsDevelop sustainable customer relationships through Strategic Customer Relationship Management and DevelopmentBe the key contact point of strategic accountsIdentify existing key accounts and seek opportunities to expand the business scope or develop regional leads for other countriesManage pipeline of opportunities to meet the sales goals.Provide feedback and market information on key accountsLead market profiling and corporate customer/competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges Drive Continuous Process ImprovementWork in alignment with company's business strategy and objectivesProactively anticipate customers’ needs and provide corresponding solutions or proposal offerings.Analyze customer's requirements, identify root cause towards problems. Ensure the activities meet the company's requirements.Respond to corporate customer RFI, RFQ and Tenders. Develop effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth. Drive for results through effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.Ensure logistics execution activities comply with Service Level Agreement to support the expected substantial profitable growth of the business.Negotiate commercial terms that are both competitive and in line with company expectationsAny other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.Job Requirements:Degree/Diploma in Business Management / Supply Chain / Logistics Management or other related disciplinesMinimum 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in Supply ChainProficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)Good command of both spoken and written in EnglishGood knowledge on supply chain-related services, warehousing and distribution if preferableAble to work effectively and independently, in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentPositive mindset, confident and able to contribute positively within a reputable growing groupEffective communicator with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
