Inspired by our purpose, we reconcile economic performance with a positive impact on people and the planet, building on our key businesses – gas, renewables, energy, services, to offer competitive solutions to our customers.Energy is our future, save it.Responsibilities:Work closely with the BD team to prepare technical proposals for Solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring timely submission of competitive, accurate, and compliant designsProvide technical input for pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, site assessments, and solution development during the sales processDevelop value-engineered system designs that optimise cost, energy yield, and project IRR/LCOE/LCOSSupport BD during client meetings and presentations, providing technical clarifications and solution justificationsReview and approve engineering drawings (e.g., Single Line Diagrams, PV module layouts) and technical documentationOversee system simulations and energy yield assessments using PVsyst, SolarGIS, HelioScope, HomerProEnsure all proposals and designs comply with Malaysian regulations, grid connection requirements, and codes of practice for solar PV and BESSLead and mentor junior engineers assigned to proposal work, ensuring consistency and technical accuracyCoordinate with procurement, project management, and external consultants to ensure proposed solutions are practical and cost-effectiveRequirements:Bachelor in Electrical Engineering/Renewable Energy related fieldAt least 4 years experience in Solar PV system and/or BESS design, engineering, and project developmentHas understanding and knowledge of electrical designs and specifications at 415/400/230V levelsHaving experience and knowledge of designing MV and HV electrical systems is a strong plusCompetent in AutoCAD and software working knowledge eg: PVsyst, Skelion Pro, SolarGIS, HelioScope, HomerProIn-depth familiarity with Malaysian regulations, codes of practice, grid connection processes, and industry standards for solar PV and BESSWhen you join ENGIE, you will have access to:The opportunity to have a meaningful job where you can make a differenceA career management plan with opportunities to grow in an international environmentAttractive and competitive packageDynamic and inclusive work environmentContinuously evolve as a professional, coupled with a variety of training opportunitiesAt ENGIE, every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition.
