Back to Careers PageAssistant Manager / Deputy ManagerFull Time Gurugram Job Role: SAP, Invoicing, Tax & AccountingReports To: AVP – Project DevelopmentKey ResponsibilitiesSAP Operations & Process ManagementManage day-to-day operations in SAP for finance modules (FI/CO).Ensure accurate posting of invoices, journal entries, and reconciliations.Monitor and resolve SAP-related issues with IT and business teams.Invoicing & Accounts PayableOversee vendor invoice processing and ensure compliance with company policies.Validate invoices against purchase orders and contracts.Ensure timely payments and maintain vendor relationships.Tax ComplianceHandle GST, TDS, and other statutory tax requirements.Prepare and file tax returns and ensure adherence to deadlines.Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for compliance.Accounting & ReportingMaintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable standards.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support internal and external audits.Process ImprovementIdentify gaps and implement automation or process enhancements.Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management practices.Non-negotiable Skills And AbilitiesSAP Expertise Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modulesAccounting Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.Taxation Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.Advanced Excel Proficiency in MS – Excel, preferably including macros & VBA and Power Point.PersonaDetail-Oriented Ensures accuracy and compliance.Process-Driven Follows structured workflows and deadlines.Collaborative Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environmentProactive Identifies issues and resolves them before escalation.Integrity & professionalism High level of integrity & professionalismFlexible attitude Ready to put extra efforts whenever neededInterview ProcessRound 1 Screening by Manager (SCM) Project Development Round 2 Interview with DGM – Land (Head Office) Round 3 Interview with AVP Project DevelopmentEducation And Experience RequiredExperience – Minimum 3-8 years’ experience. Prior experience in SAP environment is mandatory.Education – Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, BBA).
