Job Description

RequirementsJob PurposeTo assist Group Risk Management ("GRM") and Group Compliance Office ("GCO") in strengthening the Sime Darby Property group's ("the Group") digital compliance transformation through the use of AI, data analytics, and automation.  The role blends technology enablement, process automation, and risk and compliance oversight to modernise how risk and compliance are managed across the Group. Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the setup and maintenance of a compliance-driven data environment, ensuring data integrity, automation, and dashboard accuracy.Analyse risk and compliance workflows and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency, timeliness, and reporting accuracy.Collaborate with GRM, GCO, and the Digital and Technology team to develop and implement AI-enabled compliance tools (e.g. risk dashboards, regulatory monitoring, and breach simulation).Work with the Digital and Technology team to establish AI governance framework for the Gen AI tools developed for risk and compliance management, including ethical use guidelines, data safeguards, and accountability processes .Coordinate pilot projects to test agentic AI capabilities (e.g., regulatory summarisation, policy gap checks, smart alerts).Participate in the design and rollout of risk and compliance dashboards that provide near real-time risk and compliance insights for management.Support user training, system documentation, and change management related to new compliance technologies.Collaborate with data teams to ensure responsible use of data in AI systems, balancing innovation with regulatory obligations.Monitor AI performance, log issues, and coordinate continuous improvement with internal stakeholders or vendors.Prepare management updates and presentations highlighting technology adoption progress, AI risk considerations, and efficiency gains.RequirementsEducation/Professional QualificationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.Professional ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in building, implementing, or managing compliance, risk, or governance technology solutions (e.g. dashboards, automation tools, workflow systems, or GRC platforms).Exposure to AI or data analytics projects (e.g. model testing, automation) is preferred.Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data platforms is an advantage.Strong understanding of data management principles, user access controls, information security fundamentals, data integrity, and SQL.
