Assistant Manager Finance

Your future employer is a Japanese manufacturer precision metal parts using high-pressure die-casting of aluminum and zinc.Key Responsibilities:・Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including month-end closing and financial reporting.・Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.・Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid management decisions.・Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.・Supervise and mentor junior finance staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.・Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent or an MIA member is preferred.• 5+ years of progressive full set of accounting experience in manufacturing.• Proven experience with the full month-end close cycle and financial statement preparation.• Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of MFRS/IFRS.• ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with ERP system (i.e, Epicor Kinetics, Microsoft Dynamics) is strongly preferred.Additional InformationIndustry: ManufacturerLocation: Tebrau, Johor Bahru, JohorWorking Hours: 8:30am -5:45pm, Monday－Friday
