Job Description
Job PurposeTo streamline and optimise the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within NFL’s corporate division by collaborating with various business units and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and interpret financial data. This provides the organisation with detailed and accurate financial insights, facilitating timely and informed decision-making.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct financial evaluations of potential corporate projects, determining financial viability, required funding, and company benefitsEngage in financial forecasting to corporate initiatives, assessing plans, measuring cost transformation, analysing business cases related to pricing, and evaluating product metrics in the corporate sectorAssist the Head of FP&A in tracking and interpreting financial accounts, and in collecting and collating capital expenditure (CapEx), operations expenditure (OpEx), and manpower requirementsImplement approved department budgets into the corporate system, overseeing and comparing actual spending with set limits, in line with financial guidelines and best practicesExamine and interpret corporate financial data, ranging from revenue, expenses, and cash flow to inflation and exchange rates, detecting trends, patterns, and inconsistencies to aid in effective management decision-making Provide insightful recommendations to the Head of FP&A to enhance product pricing, optimise margin analytics, develop portfolio management strategies, and support the achievement of category growth targets through data analysis during cross-functional meetingsAssist in construction of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement by collaborating with corporate departments to gather and categorise financial data, comparing the current figures to those from previous periods, identifying trends, and understanding how the company is performing in relation to its set goalsPrepare and deliver various financial reports, both regular and on-demand, regarding analysis and projects to internal and external stakeholders, including data requested by financial institutions, managerial presentations, and stakeholder meetings, then submitting them for review and approval for the Head of FP&AAnalyse and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate accounting policies and procedures in line with strategic objectivesInvestigate reasons for financial discrepancies and address differences between forecast amounts by analysing underlying financial and operational data, collaborating with relevant departments to gather insights, and developing recommendationsKeep abreast with the latest developments in FP&A to ensure NFL’s corporate finance strategies align with industry best practices Minimum Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 4-6 years of experienceOrPostgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 3-4 years of experienceLocation:Karachi
