We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, looking for an Assistant Manager - International Sales & Business Development for a leading FMCG/Agri company based in Colombo.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage relationships with international buyers, distributors, and importers. Identify new business opportunities in global markets. Handle export documentation, compliance, and coordination with logistics partners. Assist in preparing sales strategies, forecasts, and market expansion plans. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international clients. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business delegations. Collaborate with internal teams (production, quality, logistics) to ensure timely and smooth order execution. RequirementsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in international sales, preferably in agri-commodities or FMCG. Strong understanding of export procedures, documentation, and international trade regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/CRM systems is an advantage. Ability to travel internationally as required.
