At BASF, careers develop from opportunities.Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key ActivitiesGovernance:Coordinate the internal audits on Regional Business Unit (RBU) functions and to develop improvement cum action plans in case of process deficiencies. Support internal audits at country level including Zhanjiang Verbund Site (ZVS) and JV entities. To work together with local Business Management to address any identified issues and to design the corrective/ preventive measures. Ensure BASF internal policies and guidelines (such as Anti-Trust Law, Anti-Money Laundry Act) are properly communicated and followed within A-CPA (Petrochemicals). Liaison with BASF tax, legal, cross BUs and JV counterparts in case of needs. ComplianceResponsible for CP Asia ICTP (Inter-Company Transfer Pricing) processes (incl. documentation, calculation methodology alignment with Regional / Global OD ICTP Office for special cases, tax audit coordination, ICTP guideline compliance). Responsible for Non-Trade Business Transactions planning, contract preparation, handling cost charge-outs. Manage charges to receiving BUs for CP’s delegated procurement services. Coordinate RBU Cost Sharing Agreement (“CSA”) Processes, update actual/forecast data in CSA tool and perform billing according to the Global schedule. Coordinate yearly CSA compliance documentation requirement. Ensure proper CSA documentations are in place and can be made available to internal/external auditors on short notice. Ensure all service agreements and related documents are archived in central contract management database. Train users and foster their understanding/awareness for their respective tasks and perform quality assurance through half yearly cross checks. CP Asia Hub Service Charging Responsible for CP Asia Hub monthly service charging activities. Support the implementation of suitable charging mechanism to ensure full CP Asia Hub cost recovery from countries. Handle cost centre maintenance, allocation key and cost cycle update as well as cost accruals. Support operational planning activities, closely monitor cost development, and report significant variances. Handle internal customer queries regarding billings and charges. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in charging processes and cost-saving. Job RequirementsUniversity Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business-related subjectsAt least 3 years relevant working experience in business controlling, Finance or Accounting in chemical, technology or manufacturing industryExperience in commodity chemicals is a plus. Technical & Professional KnowledgeProfessional finance and accounting knowledgeGood command of written and spoken EnglishHigh customer focusGood communication and interpersonal skills
