Join MRT Corp’s Property TeamWe are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Transit Oriented Developments (“TOD”) unit under the Property Division at MRT Corp Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will report to the Head of TOD and oversee the management of the TOD construction including other associated works post implementation to completion stage.ResponsibilitiesDefine the construction objectives, key performance measures, and completion targets, ensuring delivery within the approved cost, scope and schedule.Finalize the construction scope in collaboration with senior management, ensuring alignment with the TOD master plan.Review and recommend for approval the detailed construction work plan, including activity sequencing, resource allocation, and risk mitigation measures.Monitor site progress, resolve construction challenges and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.Coordinate effectively with internal teams, developers, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders for seamless site operations.Lead regular progress review meetings to track milestones, update stakeholders and address construction-related issues.Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental and quality standards, as well as relevant regulations.Liaise with authorities and adjacent developments to manage interface works while upholding MRT Corp’s Anti-Bribery and ethical standards.Review drawings during planning & design stage in accordance with the approved proposal to ensure no discrepancy or variation during construction.Any other scope as may be required by the supervising manager in achieving the department/ division objectives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture, or other disciplines related to Project or Construction Management with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with an established Property Developer, preferably in TOD or large-scale property development, with strong site supervision and project management expertise.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical audiences.Familiar with Property Development processes from inception to completion, including laws and regulations in relation to Housing Development, Strata Management, Planning & Building approvals, National Land Code and the Land Acquisition Act.Join us in transforming infrastructure into functional, connected spaces through TOD projects.
