Assistant Marketing Manager – Seasonal & In-Store MarketingOverview of the role:In this fast paced and exciting role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of innovative marketing and PR campaigns to support our Seasonal categories (Christmas, Summer and other commercial seasonal events), along with supporting the in store marketing plan (all promotional materials in stores). Role reports to the Marketing Manager for Healthcare & SeasonalYour Responsibilities: Working with our media agency to plan and deliver ATL communications in line with campaigns to support the Irish business across Seasonal (Christmas and Summer predominately).Working with our PR agency to manage and plan PR campaigns to support the development and growth of the Ireland business and deliver excellent media coverage across the Seasonal campaigns.Supporting our Social Media Manager on the content planning for Seasonal campaign support across our social media platforms.Working closely with the commercial team to maximise opportunities in Ireland.Lead the planning of in store marketing (supporting wider ISM team) across the entire ROI business / all categories, ensuring alignment with business / trading objectives, consistency and accuracy in messaging.Working in partnership with the AMM for Health and Pharmacy on total planning, budgeting, prioritisation, and supporting one another as workload requires.Weekly and monthly reporting on all campaigns to share with internal teams and stakeholders.Working with Boots UK seasonal and ISM teams to maximise opportunities in Ireland and ensure integration and alignment of plans.Responsible for managing and implementation of campaigns for our digital channels in conjunction with our media agency and commercial team.Our Ideal CandidateEducated to degree level (Marketing degree favourable) with;Minimum of 2-3 years marketing or PR experience required, preferably within a health & beauty retail businessPreferred knowledge of retail landscapeProven track record of delivering successful marketing campaignsAbility to demonstrate genuine interest in the retail industryExcellent analytical, communication and presentation skillsA highly organised, adaptable and motivated approachA high level of initiative and a clear focus on delivering resultsAbility to work well with a number of cross functional, international teamsAbility to make data driven decisions and recommendationsBusiness evaluation/reporting in a timely mannerInterest and knowledge of Irish InfluencersFlexibility to travel within Ireland and to UK when requiredOUR BENEFITSGenerous Employee DiscountEnhanced Leave EntitlementsCompany PensionWe have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that go beyond salary and offer flexibility to suit you; click here to view our full list of company benefits (all rewards and benefits are subject to change and eligibility).WHY BOOTS?We're always looking for people who care; people who go the extra mile to change things for the better.
