The expected start date is August 7, 2026. Appropriate disciplinary specialties may include but are not limited to the molecular study of bacterial pathogens, antibiotic resistance, drug development, host-microbe interaction, and omics approaches.MBS is part of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Opportunities for collaboration exist within CAS, including with the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, and across the USF campus, including with the Center for Antimicrobial Resistance, USF Colleges of Medicine, Public Health, and Engineering, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Johnnie B. Byrd Sr. Alzheimer's Institute, Center for Biological Defense and the Center for Drug Discovery and Innovation.
