The ideal candidate must have full lifecycle project experience, from engineering and construction through commissioning and shutdown/refurbishment phases. This leadership role requires strong technical knowledge, on-site management capability, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams for successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the erection of all major coal power plant equipment as per engineering standards.Manage safe and systematic dismantling/de-erection of plant structures, mechanical systems, and equipment.Oversee repair, refurbishment, and reinstallation of dismantled power plant components.Coordinate daily with engineering, contractors, and OEM teams for smooth project execution.Monitor project schedule, manpower, and resources to ensure timely progress.Ensure all erection and dismantling activities meet safety, quality, and compliance requirements.Lead commissioning-related tasks after erection and ensure systems are ready for operation.Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.Resolve technical issues at site and support troubleshooting during execution.Ensure proper documentation, method statements, and reporting for all work phases.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.15–20 years of experience in coal-fired power plant construction, commissioning, dismantling, or refurbishment.Demonstrated experience working with construction companies, EPC contractors, or OEM service providers in coal-fired plant projects.Strong understanding of power plant systems including boilers, turbines, BOP systems, piping, and auxiliary equipment.Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and managing complex industrial projects.Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with coal plant dismantling and refurbishment projects.Ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.Familiarity with international codes, standards, and safety practices for power plants.
