They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service to clients and continuously seeking ways to improve both as a company and within the industry.About the opportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to work closely with an experienced leadership and project management team. The company invests in its staff, supporting growth and development, with clear pathways to take on your own smaller projects or advance into a Project Manager role. This position is ideal for someone technically capable who wants hands-on experience executing tenant improvement projects typically ranging up to $10M+.About the positionThe Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Management team on a variety of projects across sectors including education, childcare, technology, food & beverage, recreation, and more. Responsibilities will include working on multi-story TI projects for large, globally recognized companies, splitting time between site, office, and home. This role provides exposure to both the technical and operational sides of project delivery.ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing projects from inception through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are metCollaborate with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to coordinate subtrades, suppliers, and site superintendentsReview drawings, submittals, and documentation to support project executionHelp monitor project budgets, cost reporting, and invoicingSupport project startup activities including contracts, insurance, and WCB documentationAssist in maintaining schedules, meeting minutes, and change ordersQualificationsExperience seeing tenant improvement projects through their full lifecycleWorked on TI projects valued at $1M+Technical background in Construction, Design, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with construction softwareComfortable reviewing drawings and submittalsSite-experienced and technically capable, with a blend of office and site exposureEager to grow into a Project Manager role and manage smaller projects independently over timeCompensationSalary: $90,000 -$105,000Bonus: Potential for profit sharingWork Model: Hybrid (site, office, home)Benefits: Medical, mileage reimbursement, vacationGrowth: Opportunity to take on own projects and progress to Project Manager At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
