Keep operations efficient, ensure crews are meeting goals, ensure crews are operating safely, ensure crews have clear direction, ensure work is at SRM standard and satisfactory to the client. Assist supervisors with questions, planning tasks, paperwork, photos.   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Manage line-ups and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) readings Make sure line-ups are efficient, crews are on time, and team can get an accurate headcountHighlight progress maps Ensure all staff and subcontractors are working safely, wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following all safety policies as well as any client safety policies  Set-up temporary office with designated PPE station and sign-in area Update and send out Supervisor Assignment Sheet daily Monitor cleanliness of vehicles along with checking fluids, tires, etc. Monitor break areas, smoking areas, and muster point Assist and train Supervisors on paperwork, photos, policies, procedures, etc. Lead quality control of all activities within the project Make sure crews are logging into Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) properly Ensure Supervisors are tracking equipment and supplies accurately, and are equipped with necessary tools and supplies prior to labor startingMake sure crews are keeping Environmental Quality Management (EQM), tools, and materials clean and organized, and ensuring they are being used properly Review equipment scanning database, and verify that there is no equipment still scanned to the job at the endMaintain a positive and professional work environment during and after work hours Verify crew members have proper training, qualifications, and license type to drive or operate different vehicles and equipment Communicate with Project Managers (PMs) on expected supply needs Update Project Management Report (PMR) for PM’s review Review procedure for cutting off electrical, suppression systems, and water lines in case of emergency Address all concerns from Supervisors or Technicians regarding concerns with procedures, safety, etc. Ensure Supervisors and Technicians are completely comfortable and have a clear vision of the product and how to accomplish it safely Calculate and determine the equipment needed for structural drying and environmental controls  Required Travel:In this role, you are required to travel up to 90 days at a time, and at least 200 days per year.  Supervisory Responsibilities: Technicians, Supervisors, General Labor, other Assistant Project Managers, client’s staff, and subcontractors may report to the Assistant Project Manager.   Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Minimum 2 years of large loss experienceStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to conduct professional conversations with customers, employees, and managementMust be able to complete simple mathematical calculations and paperwork accurately Must have mechanical aptitude Must have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferredMust be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, MS Project, Excel) and other computer software Must have a functional understanding of handheld smart devices and an aptitude for learning new technology and applicable software  The ability to be detailed oriented, organized, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions   Proficient knowledge of heavy equipment (Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, Skidsteer, Telescopic Forklift, and/or Warehouse Forklift)  Experience setting-up and breaking-down generators and large environmental control equipment (desiccant, heaters)  Experience estimating power usage and time needed for crews to accomplish their tasks Knowledge of all restoration related equipment (portable equipment, truck mounts, and/or walk-behind extractors)  Proven ability to resolve issues with staff and labor  Must pass a drug test  Ability to obtain the OSHA 30-Hour Certification Ability to meet goals and deadlines Ability to prevent accidents and injuries for self and teamAbility to keep crews disciplined with safety procedures, work quality, and time management, all while maintaining a positive team moraleAbility to oversee a disciplined and organized crew or team of subcontractors Must be able to keep work quality and cleanliness up to organizational standards Proven ability to meet client satisfaction Physical Requirements: Standing for 12+ hours Able to lift 50+ pounds Able to use stairs, ladders, and/or ramps Able to drive for 11+ hours Able to pass a DOT medical inspection Able to pass a medical evaluation and fit test for respirator Projects may require work to be performed in adverse weather ranging from extreme colds to high heatProjects may require 12+ hour workdays, 7 days a week for months at a timeProjects may require employee to wear various forms of PPE including, but not limited to various forms of respiratory, face and eye, or coverall protection All projects require a minimum PPE of safety toe boots at ankle height, a hard hat, safety glasses, and a reflective vest.Other dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
