Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and regulation-focused Assistant Specialist to join a respected institution in Istanbul. The position focuses on engaging with emerging market participants (Crypto asset service providers and/or crowdfunding platforms), producing data-driven insights, monitoring regulatory developments, and supporting the digital transformation of capital markets.Key Responsibilities:·      Monitoring SPK (Capital Markets Board) and MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) regulations, particularly those related to crypto-asset and crowdfunding activities,·      Following national and international developments in financial technologies and conducting research on sectoral trends,·      Preparing analytical reports and statistical data on crypto-asset service providers and crowdfunding platforms,·      Preparing informative materials, guidelines, and announcements to enhance investor awareness of financial risks,·      Contributing to the identification of sectoral needs and challenges and supporting the development of solution-oriented policy proposals.Qualifications:·      A bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, economics, or related fields. (Applicants with degrees in other disciplines must hold a relevant master’s degree in law, economics, business administration, finance, or a related area.)·      Experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, or internal control within crypto-asset service providers or crowdfunding platforms. ·      Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,·      At least 2 to 3 years of experience in finance or a related industry.·      Good written and spoken communication skills in both Turkish and English.·      Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).·      Possession of Capital Markets Licence (Sermaye Piyasası Faaliyetleri Düzey 3) is an asset.
