Assistant Supply Chain Manager - FMCG/Tobacco Industry

Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager – Supply Chain will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including the importation of raw materials from third countries, local logistics coordination, and distribution of finished goods across Nepal. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, customs agents, warehouses, and Sub-Dealers to ensure smooth and timely flow of materials and products. The incumbent will also monitor Sub-Dealer performance, manage account settlements, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills with sound knowledge of import documentation, excise tax procedures, and supply chain processes within the FMCG or tobacco sector.Job Description for Assistant Manager-Supply Chain! Coordinate and oversee the importation process of raw materials of Tobacco or Non-Tobacco Materials, especially from third countries. Report line manager/concern stake holders for regular tracking of raw materials shipment starting from establishment of LC/TT/DAP, Document process flow and verification, custom clearing process on Nepal/India and so on. Coordinate local supply chain operations, including factory dispatches, warehousing, and distribution of finished goods to Sub-Dealer (Sub-D) locations across the country. Monitor Sub-Dealer performance and compliance with financial, operational, and business standards as defined by company policies. Manage Sub-Dealer account settlements, reconcile outstanding dues, and ensure timely collection of receivables. Track and report line manager/concern department of primary sales, receivables, and stock movements to ensure accurate financial reporting and business visibility. Perform task as assigned by line manager and HOD.RequirementsMust have completed bachelor’s degree.
