We seek a proactive Assistant Teacher to support classroom instruction, reinforce curriculum objectives, and contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment for young learners.Role & ResponsibilitiesSupport lead teachers in daily classroom delivery—prepare learning materials, set up activities, and assist with whole-class and small-group instruction.Deliver targeted interventions (phonics, literacy, numeracy) and reinforce lesson objectives under teacher guidance.Monitor student progress through observations and basic assessments; maintain accurate records and share updates with the lead teacher.Implement classroom routines and positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere.Assist with supervision during transitions, break times, and school events; ensure adherence to child safeguarding and health & safety protocols.Communicate clearly with parents and staff—convey student progress, follow-up actions, and classroom needs as instructed by the lead teacher.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveRelevant diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education, Teaching Assistantship, or related fieldExperience supporting classroom instruction in early years or primary settings (nursery, KS1)Strong understanding of phonics delivery and early literacy strategiesWorking knowledge of child safeguarding and behaviour management practicesAbility to document observations and maintain student records accuratelyEligibility to work in the UAE (valid work permit or sponsorship)PreferredFirst Aid / CPR certificationExperience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Familiarity with British or international primary curriculaBenefits & Culture HighlightsOn-site, classroom-centered role with structured schedules and collaborative teaching teamsOpportunities for professional development and internal training in pedagogy and child safeguardingSupportive environment focused on student wellbeing and inclusive educationThis role is ideal for hands-on educators who thrive in active classroom environments and are committed to helping young learners reach their potential.
