With roots dating to 1828, Willis Towers Watson has an inclusive and diverse workforce of over 40,000 employees in more than 140 countries.Willis Towers Watson (Cayman) Limited (WTWC) wishes to recruit an ambitious, dynamic, and highly motivated individual for the position of ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT.The position will report directly to the Managing Director, and the primary responsibility will be the management, supervision, and development of the team of captive account managers overseeing service delivery to clients.The RolePrimary Responsibilities Will IncludeOversee and coordinate financial reporting activity for captive accounts, including direct involvement in key client relationships. Ensuring the accurate and timely production of financial reporting packages for management and statutory purposes Technical accounting and regulatory resources for clients and the captive account managers Oversee all client reporting activities, including preparing and presenting Board and Committee materials WTWM operational service delivery for several of our key clients Develop processes for efficiencies in account management and client service delivery Preparation and coordination of regulatory filings Coordination and oversight of other insurance company service providers and liaising with investment managers in respect of invested funds Assistance and support in new business development and associated activities, including assisting with the preparation and review of feasibility studies Becoming technology leaders in WTW analytics tools Undertake special projects as assigned Meaningful contribution to the successful development of WTWC as an employer of choice and industry leader in Cayman. QualificationsThe RequirementsThe Successful Candidate Will HaveA bachelor’s degree, and being a fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experienceHands-on experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry for a minimum of five years is required Experience required in the Cayman insurance regulatory environment and practical experience in all relevant aspects of regulatory and corporate complianceDemonstrated skills in organizational matters and in presentation and communications, with a commitment to attention to detailRelevant computer experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other accounting software packages. The position will require a high standard of organization, verbal, and written communication skills. Salary and benefits are negotiable within a range of US $100,000 - 120,000/yr, depending on experience.Equal Opportunity Employer
