Marsh Management Services is the exclusive captive solutions division of Marsh Inc., which includes providing advice, implementation, management and actuarial services. Marsh Management Services is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Cayman office.Account Executive, Assistant Vice President.What can you expect?The Account Executive develops and fosters long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of clients, and are responsible for retaining, servicing and expanding key accounts. Responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of a portfolio of captive clients. These consist of single parent captives, group captives, insurance companies and reinsurance companies, writing property and casualty business and / or long term business. Develop solutions for client needs, responds to client questions and supports the creation of products and programs.We will count on you to:Serves as a client contact and responds to complex client needs and questions to improve the client experienceDemonstrates a comprehensive understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clientsDevelop and foster long-term relationships with a portfolio of clientsDevelops very good working relationships with other service providers and regulatorsResponsible for the quality of the day to day services provided to client portfolioPerforms technical review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRSSupervises the financial audit process with the auditorsPerforms functions pertaining to regulatory compliance by clientsParticipates in and coordinates client meetings, including presenting at Board Meetings Partners with Marsh colleagues in the preparation of licence applications for new insurance companies and develops relationships with prospects and new clientsPartners with Marsh colleagues in relation to strategic reviews of captivesWhat you need to have:Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with public accounting experience (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA etc.)Minimum of 3 years of experience working with an insurance managerExcellent communication skills with the ability to present to Board of Directors at meetings in both Cayman and elsewhere (requiring travel outside office hours)Experience in relation to final reporting under US GAAP and IFRS Strong organizational skillsAbility to work as part of a team, willingness and ability to work outside regular office hoursWhat makes you stand out:Knowledge of Cayman Islands insurance acts, regulations, rules and regulatory statements of guidance is preferredFluency in Spanish is highly preferredWhy join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact on colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world’s top insurance broker and risk advisor.
