The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in design programs, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, bringing curiosity, collaboration, and a keen eye for detail to every stage of the design process, from concept to final product.Some of what you’ll do:Sketching & Technical SupportCreate and update technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator on an ongoing basis.Apply colorways and update merch plan files as needed.Support in maintaining accurate and current tech sketches.Research & DevelopmentAssist in seasonal research based on design direction—fabrics, trims, silhouettes, and market trends.Provide inspiration boards and research summaries to help define new concepts and ideas.Assist in exploring ways to improve styles through design details, construction, and fabrication.Product Development & FittingsSupport in fittings and take detailed notes when required.Maintain up-to-date information in the merch plan for fabrics, trims, and color standards.Accessories & Cross-Category Design SupportHelp in sourcing, gathering samples, and managing vendor communications for accessories.Support in designing and developing new bodies across Outerwear, Sportswear, and Accessories, with occasional contributions to Kids when needed.Knowledge of outerwear construction and components is an asset.Organization & PresentationMaintain organized digital and physical files, including samples, research, and design references.Prepare design presentations and visuals as directed, ensuring all content is cohesive and brand aligned.Some of what you’ll need:1+ years of experienceProficient in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop preferred.Strong understanding of technical sketches, specifications, and garment construction.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and outerwear components considered an asset.Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field preferredBilingualGiven the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world. Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate.
