Assistant Workshop/Maintenance Technician

Undertakes the preparation of equipment to Company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment.Key Activities And AccountabilitiesUnder direct supervision undertake the preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of equipment in line with work plans to the required Company quality and certification standardsAssist with the rigging up, building and rigging down of equipment as requiredMay be required to drive a forklift to undertake the movement, loading and unloading of equipment provided current driving qualification heldAccurately complete required documentation for review by foreman/supervisor in line with company’s policies and proceduresReport incidents and non-conformances in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; seeks guidance on correct reporting methods where necessaryCarry out daily housekeeping of work place and tools to ensure a clean working environmentParticipate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates etcUses Stop Work Authority and participates in Positive Intervention ProgrammeLiaise with Supervisor and team members when required to ensure all aspects of the schedule of work are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to achieve safe completion of maintaining and repairing of equipment for task completionJob Knowledge And QualificationsRelevant technical QualificationPrevious work experience preferably in the related product lineAt Expro, we live by our values, People, Performance, Planet and Partnerships.
