The Assistant Workshop Manager - Planned Maintenance and Rebuilds will be responsible for overseeing the planned maintenance and rebuilding of mine machines, including Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, Dump trucks, and Trucks. The role involves managing a team of technicians, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard.Salary:NegotiableResponsibilities:Develop and implement planned maintenance schedules for all mine machines.Oversee the rebuilding of machines, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard.Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to mining operations.Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard, meeting safety and quality requirements.Key Skills:A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.Strong technical skills in diesel plant fitting, with experience working on heavy mobile equipment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with technicians, management, and other stakeholders.Good people skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.Qualifications:Class 1 qualification in Diesel Plant Fitting with a focus on heavy mobile equipment.
