This is an Australia based role and we are open to out of country applicantsVerbind Partners is partnering with a leading national property and construction advisory firm to appoint experienced Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors for their growing Sydney office. The business has recently welcomed a new CEO and is investing significantly in expanding its New South Wales team.With established offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Tasmania and Perth, the firm is now building out a strong Sydney presence and is offering sponsorship for qualified surveyors who are looking to relocate to Australia. About the roleYou will work closely with a director in a collaborative team environment, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across a wide range of sectors. The position involves delivering high level cost management and advisory services across small, medium and major developments. Experience working with residential clients is beneficial but not essential.You will also contribute to the development of the team by guiding and mentoring junior staff, helping build capability and confidence while maintaining a consistent standard of delivery.Key responsibilities• End to end quantity surveying and cost management services • Preparation of cost plans, estimates and bills of quantities • Management of tender reviews, progress claims and contract administration • Detailed project analysis and financial reporting • Support and mentoring of junior team members • Close collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful outcomesAbout you• A minimum of five years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting • Proven project experience across commercial and residential sectors • Strong analytical capability with excellent technical reporting skills • Confident communication and client engagement skills • MRICS highly regarded
